For future reference, check the market before commenting something like that.

I actually checked tf2outpost.com. I know that the range your making is right. There are only a few trades on 1.44 ref.:

The rest are low craft numbers, paint and 100 lvl. The ones above are unsolds. Maybe if you had more solds in 1.55 - 2 refined? That would be good to raise the price of the item, right? Although the fact that there are lots of sellers in price between 1.44 - 2 refined, making it a good range.
