Suggestion: Mann Co. Supply Crate Key at 19 ref

First of all this was my suggestion ( http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5549a13fb88d8889238b4572 ). Don't go stealing my work off just because I closed it down because of the cool down.

To Moderators: Whoever went warning people: If you do not care about your own cool downs then very well remove that good for nothing post about rules from one of your peers. You are just busy warning people and all the stuff but care to close this suggestion if the cool down is still in effect.

The change is .33 or greater, so cooldown does not apply.

How does the change is greater? 19 ref is already in the range. And even median is less then 0.33 ref. Please explain.

The change is not .33 ref or greater. The change is from median of 18.66-19 ref to 19 ref. That's half of .33 ref.

Cooldown is in effect.

That doesn't mean his suggestion is invalid. Mods can leave the suggestion open until due time. And who knows, maybe by then the keys are even higher.

Part of the point of cooldowns is to avoid spam.

That doesn't stop hundreds of desperate users to spam their "save the X" suggestions.

Also, I am pretty sure I've seen plenty of suggestions at cooldown that are not closed and get accepted once the cooldown passes.

As for spams, I referring to a suggestion today at 19.11 ref, another suggestion tomorrow at 19.22 ref, etc.

It's going to be hard for me to find them as I never paid much attention to that. Just thought it was normal, hence my words.

But from now on I'll keep a watchful eye and keep them saved.

Edit: I just noticed... isn't this suggestion proof of that? It's been up for 4 hours already and since it's considered spam wouldn't that mean mods have to close it?

There's a cool down mate

Buyers isn't really good proof as main proof, as buyers tend to buy lower for profit.

You can see that almost every single buyer on your list is also selling (in the same trade or in a different trade) for a higher amount.

They must be able to sell at that amount or they wouldn't be able to buy more keys, so you could use their sales.

With some sales, I actually believe keys could be higher than this right now.

They are buying below the actual value, not the value as listed currently on backpack.tf. That is why there is currently a price suggestion up to raise them...

yeah, list it below 19 and bots will snatch it up so fast

actually i think the players are selling their keys to the bots for their higher payout so that those players get the most metal out of them. it's what i do sometimes when i need to get metal quickly.

ref prices change on key price change... it's not gonna be $.15 each per ref and 30 ref per key because the base is $2.49
