I can't really agree with last suggestion. Obviously everyone will automatically presume this is a case of "owns one, downvote" and "manipulation omfg ban pls", but I just thought the last suggestion wasn't accurate.
In http://backpack.tf/vote/id/554e2d43ba8d889a338b46ae, Shuffle Spy came to the conclusion that "95, 75, 75, 80, 70 from my suggestion
101 and 76 from last suggestion valid", thus making the price range 70-80 as I had currently put it on the market for 70 keys pure only.
However. As he pointed out already, 101 and 76 ARE still valid, and the fact that it has been sold for 78 keys PURE makes me still think the low end isn't accurate.
Now, please tell me if I'm wrong, but a reaction of the vote telling "fairly pointless. the only thing disproving the last suggestion is the quickseller at 70" confirmed my thoughts: the low end was based on the fact that I put it up for 70 keys on Outpost. That trade no longer exists. It's weird how I first listed it at 115 keys before Shuffle Spy decided to update it the very day I changed that, but whatever.
Resuggesting at 70-95. I would indeed say 101 was an outlier, but 95 isn't too far off. Considering 70 was already in range, despite being the only sale that low (others starting at 75), I must insist in resuggesting to 70-95.
In case I'm breaking any rules or I'm wrong, I'd happily close this suggestion, but I do not appreciate how yesterday's suggestion on this Attendant went.
*awaits downvote storm for owning one*
Sales were actually 71, 76, 77, 77, 78, 85 and 101.
Where did I get 85? It's from the Sulphorous Hat of Cards.
I'm not sure how he has gotten 94 from the sale, but it is actually 85 Keys as 88+100=188/2=94x0.9=84.6~85 Keys.
I guess you could counter the other suggestion at 76-85 Keys, if you can find offers that surpass 71 keys. Otherwise, the current price is fine.
This just proofs everyone automatically accepts proof without checking at all... including me. Damn.
I assume my idea of that pure sale being enough isn't right? I can of course put it for offers just to see what happens. I'd gladly close the suggestion.
tl;dr: Last suggestion was only partially right, and partially based on the fact that I recently put it up as a quicksell on Outpost, while I'd say there are sales proving the current range wrong.
Who reads stuff anyway? Reading is for dummies amirite c:
Ah, I see. I honestly don't know if this is allowed, and I guess because of that I am surely staying neutral :P
I'm not sure either. This suggestion is pretty much tentative, considering I just don't agree with the outcome of last suggestion, while the proof turns out to be correct.
This was an attempt on making a conclusion by the way.
"Resuggesting at 70-95. I would indeed say 101 was an outlier, but 95 isn't too far off. Considering 70 was already in range, despite being the only sale that low (others starting at 75), I must insist in resuggesting to 70-95."
No, if you do the math between the numbers, the gap between 70 and 80 is a lot smaller than the gap between 70 and 95, but yet, there are plenty of data points at 75 to support the fact that 95 is an outlier.
Fair enough, but please let me remind you of what Roller said above. The proof from last suggestion was flawed.
I'll indeed close this, put it up for offers on Outpost and whenever I get anything that outranges 71, I'll resuggest.
