Oddly enough, this thing seems to go for $7-10 on the community market on average. This thing is a hardsell at best.

Many people just use the steam community market. The unique version isn't marketable. Given no choice they have to buy these at a much higher price. Same thing can be said for many genuines which can't be sold above "quickbuyers" price, but that can be sold easily on the steam community market.
