Leave constructive criticism in the comments please.
Can you please space out the suggestions in to what sections are relevant to each other, and not just one big wall of text?
There, that better?
Much better, thanks :) Btw, you could probably round 22.5 to 23
Yeah you're gonna need to round
I thought that too but .5 key isn't too hard to convert, unlike .3 or .7 sometimes.
If it's .5 you always round up, at least that was the rule in math class so I go by it =P
5 and above = round up
4 and below = round down
There is no rule about rounding a mini, at all, it's a person's opinion.
and by a rule, I mean a legit price suggestion rule.
I'm not saying you should, I'm telling you how
im pretty sure most people know how to round, excluding those who have yet to learn it since they're <9 yrs or so and wouldnt be suggesting here :3
Please keep your insults and assumptions to yourself, I was suggesting a price not looking to argue about rounding and how I actually know how to round.
Either way, you should round, otherwise an unnecessary flame war about rounding will start + look into the Spec Aussie GL sale, as it might prove yours an outlier
And whoever you are, please stop disliking
oh ok Ill make sure for next time
IT ALREADY HAPPENED.
Which are you talking about?
The war above me.
I don't think 2 comments count as a war. Anyways, have you looked into the Spec Aussie GL sale?
No because I realized this is stupid and people should just determine off of outpost (which most people do) instead of looking at past sales, also, people here are very rude, I was just trying to help and everyone started to hate me.
No one has ever determined a killstreak based on Outpost.. ever. Like Hex said, Outpost isn't an accurate representation of a Killstreak item's market. We were all helping by providing you an extra sale and telling you to round, and you just didn't look into it :/
no no no, you read it wrong I was talking about unusual price suggestions.
and people should just determine off of outpost (which most people do) instead of looking at past sales
I was implying unusual because bp.tf doesn't do killstreaks. Also, I was just trying to help and people got all mad at me.
And not just mad at me, mad at each other and arguing.
I didnt insult you, are you mad? cuz you seem like you are one of those butthurt white belts who cant tell the difference between helping and not helping
eitherway, im off, dont wanna help ya cuzza ya attitude, cya
White belts? Karate? when did we mention Karate? I'm disappointed in your attitude/behavior not mad, you are definitely one of the more rude people I've met.
You're a white belt (0-5 accepted suggestions). And no, we're not arguing, we're just provide counter and supportive evidence. That's what regulars like us do. You can choose to accept and look into it, or you can just ignore them. If you do the latter, however, you're merely proving the stereotype to be correct :/
Closing this suggestion because I hate this as in YOU GUYS. Community.
Yeah, your sale might be an outlier. Here's another sale:
Sold w/ 1 key for a Spec Aussie Nade Launcher (~22, mini below)
Before: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198012613726?time=1431154800
After: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198012613726?time=1431241200
22 - 1 = 21 *.9 = 18.9 rounding to 19 keys
Spec Aussie GL mini
http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Strange%20Specialized%20Killstreak%20Australium%20Grenade%20Launcher
1 sold for $54.01 on May 9th, Keys were $2.45 at the time
54.01/2.45 = ~22
Market isn't really the best for pricing though, is there a mini that isn't from the market?
That's how you do minis for killstreaks. I've done it a couple of times.
You don't really need to do a mini for a spec Aussie GL, 22 is off for sure and you don't use .9 overpay for aussies, I believe it's .95 but I know for suure it's not .9.
I'm pretty sure any overpay is calculated by .9, wether they're aussies or not
"For other items like HOUWARs, Max Heads, Buds, Bills, Australiums, you may not necessarily have to factor 10% overpay, but you will need to identify what they sell for easily in pure. A decent estimate of this is to go by 1 key less than the lowest classifieds value or 1 key under the current bp.tf range. "
meh alright *pretends to stop applying overpay on Aussie
That is the most accurate way to make a mini for any killstreak item.
Why? You could just find an outpost trade completed, wouldn't that be the most accurate?
You could, but it wouldn't accurately represent the market, most killstreak items are sold through the market, so that is what you should use.
