ster_ has one, should be worth 100+ keys nowIt's a 1 of 2 as far as I know. One's in a Private backpack, the other one I have
I bought it for a Bubbling Ushanka + a DP Party Phantom.
http://gyazo.com/1ee4314c3ff9e32810def38d4b27fa4c
Bubbling Ushanka is 15.5, DP Party Phantom is 32.5
15.5 + 32.5 = 48
48 x 0.9 = 43.2, rounded to 43.
Not sure if the Ushanka needs a mini, I'll make one if it's needed.
I'm new to the whole unusual pricing, so any constructive criticism is appreciated.
some links would be good.
Just added it, forgot to put it in the beginning

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25854629 - B/O of 35 keys
Not sure about this
I bought it from him.
Either way, the sale has to be capped at 35 because of that B/O.
But he paid more than 35 so that makes no sense lol
Buyouts are what the owner would instantly take for their hat in pure. Why value the sale over their buyout if they'd instantly take that amount of pure anyway?
Our unusual values are based on what they sell for in pure too, partly why this is a thing.
But it didn't sell for pure, it sold for unusuals
Yes - if we were to treat that sale normally, we'd multiply it by 0.9 to account for item overpay (as done in the suggestion 48 * 0.9 = ~43) and that's to give a value for the hat in pure.
However, the buyout was 35, so it shouldn't be valued any higher than 35.
More proof bp.tf should not be used to price things if you guys do shit like this
I just don't think you fully understand it. It's a lot to wrap your head around at first :P
No, I understand your twisted logic completely.
Bp.tf prices represent the item values in pure, that's why we apply overpay. 10% is just the standardized overpay, seems like in this case it would need to be more.
As you see its called unusual overpay for a reason, he overpaid so that he could get a hat where the seller wanted 35 keys.
i actually look at it as "he overpaid because he didn't have pure,so i'll get the 35 keys with his offer + have some profit"
You usually don't get profit when you overpay, because you're, well, overpaying.
i do have profit, because people overpay for my stuff
