Solds are required to update an unusual's price, unfortunately.

Not when you are lowering a price :) Sellers under current price is enough if it's not a quicksale :)

Unusuals require sales, always.

Sales would definitely help, but due to how outdated this is it has a chance if there are no sales that say otherwise.

34 key seller is a quick sell, you should re-suggest for just 40 keys.

I tried to investigate the sales, but it doesnt bring me anywhere.

However: Your seller at 34 is selling a duped one. Therefore its invalid. If you want to make this drop, youll have to put it at 40 flat.

Even if there weren't recent sales, the 34 key seller is to young to use as an unsold buyout.

You don't NEED sales to lower an unusual. If it's been selling for a while for a lower price than Backpack suggests while being outdated at the same time, you can lower it. This only has a seller at 1 day old and is inadequate.
