Sellers≠sales and quicksolds are not valid

quicksolds are valid for raising and there is nobody selling for under 2 on outpost, bazaar, or classifieds

I can accept quicksolds being valid but just because no one is selling for under 2 ref doesn't mean people will want to buy it for 2 ref. You are still only assuming that people will buy it for what they are selling it for. If I find the a new effect for a robo unusual that is ugly and I price it at like 50 buds does that mean that people will buy it and that it is worth that price? No. Though that is a bad analogy cause you can price unusuals with B/Os you get my point. If the price was like 2.33 and no one was selling for it for 2.33 but people were selling it for 2 ref than that would mean you need to lower it. also I've found some sellers that have been bumped for under 2 ref

those are both young, the 1.66 is unbumped, and i assumed the market was as it was 11 hours ago when i suggested, when there was nobody selling for under 2 ref

also i don't think you notice the quicksold being the high end. buyers also aren't needed for raising

if you want me to resuggest with the ugly range of 1.66-2.33, i'll wait for the trades to age first

1.66 is bumped. It was bumped an hour after being made so it is valid. Young sellers are fine as long as you are proving that there are people selling for lower prices. I made no implications about the high end. I was referring to your statement that the 2 ref sellers were the only valid proof for a low end. Since there are people selling it for under 2 ref, it is more reasonable to predict that people will go for the ones under 2 ref. People will see that the current range is selling and more people will sell it for the current range. As long as there are people selling it for under 2 ref I see no reason to exclude 1.66 from the range. 1.66-2.33 would be okay but not 2-2.33.

It's a setting I have for outpost. It tells me the Exact time it was created and the exact time it was last bump. It was created at 1:30 am and bumped at 2:30 am. And just because they're young doesn't mean that they will quicksell. Every outpost trade was young at one point but not all of them are quicksells. Once again you are assuming that they will quicksell which doesn't mean that they will quicksell.

they may quicksell, young trades are quicksells until proven otherwise (i.e. a day passes). i wouldn't be able to edit the range even if i wanted to ~~as the fascist bp.tf mods won't let us edit the prices without closing and reopening~~

I know you can't edit the range. So like you said. We have to wait to see if they quicksell. If they quick sell I'll upvote, but until then it's a Downvote from me.

the 1.66 quicksold and the 1.88 sold at 24 1/2 hours, so it's probably not worth countering myself for less than a weapon's difference

i didn't really make an effort to ask him if he bumped it more than the bump yesterday. the quicksold for 1.88 kind of counters this. it's not worth countering myself, and i think that the fact that this suggestion has been up for 10 days kind of makes it difficult.

if you want to counter me on this, go for it. at least this range will be less ugly.
