Oh, and I took the same nuts Ninja Hood as payment on March 30th for my planets Modest. That was right during the bud/key transition, so things were very up in the air, so may not be strictly usable. I ended up using steam market valuations as an anchor to determine that it was a reasonable trade, had planned on then selling the hood on market but ended up not, obviously.

What did you take the beak as?

The guy I was trading with had it listed for 39 pure ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25955530 ) which I thought was reasonable or better (not many listed, that was the best b/o by a decent margin). They sent me a trade offer with five keys on my side after I asked about it. I would have been willing to add about 8, maybe even 9 (which would have put the hood at about 35), but he ended up undercutting me. The beak looks like it is still pretty easy to sell that high or higher, based on b/os. I'm not personally in a hurry to sell mine, so I set it high.

Main reason I still considered the ninja hood fairly high was the steam market, where basically none had sold for under $75, and the one that did was nuts. (I'd been dancing around undercutting with another nuts hood for a while, and it didn't show up again after that point, looks like March 21st.) Wasn't willing to go for much under 30-35, even in pure. There have been a couple lower sales since then, if I still had it I'd have been willing to go a little lower, but nowhere near this.

Basically, the guy that took the DBD bot dogger for the nuts hood seems to have taken backpack prices as near-bible, so he was probably accepting it as 27 keys.
