Feel free to counter / support my proofs

why are you ignoring the sale at 24,and the supportive sale "Orb. Fire Snaggletooth + Gifted Bubbling Tyrannus" ?

not to say how neither 16 nor 19 took that long to sell

They are quite dated already. Why should we take outdated sales while there are enough sales to represent the market?

however the fact that 16-19 went fast, and there are 2 sales pointing towards including 24 (in the last 3 months),proves otherwise

Fast but not fast enough to be consider as "QS" so I see no problem with that.

i never said it's a QS,just that because they sell fast,24 should be included

And again, the 24-key sale itself is outdated already.

Exceptions: For very rare hats, if there have only been 1-2 sales in the last 3 months, a trade up to 3 months old is okay to use as proof to establish more data points. Keep in mind, new sales should take precedence over older ones.

                24 sale is 2 months and 7-8 days~

                the unusual sale is like 16.5 * 0.9 = 15,and i believe the tyrannus can get 9 keys,but it's closer to the 3 months mark,making it supportive

as i said, the 16 and 19 key sales took 2 and 3 days respectively. 24 should be included

edit: this is similar to the situation with the DP regge

"For very rare hats" - This Unusual doesn't meet this criteria as it's not rare. There are 13 versions of this Unusual exist.

"1-2 sales in the last 3 months" - There have been 4 trackable sales + some untrackable sales. 3 have been listed above and 1 is used in Eerie Orbiting Fire Buckaroos Hat suggestion. This criteria isn't met either.

So your whole argument is invalid as 24, in any possible ways, is still outdated.

                    you see,rare doesn't mean that it's 1:1,1:2 etc

                    http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/248196433 < heh

there have been 2 sales which went fast

2 sales that are in the 3<months,and both support 24

                    one clear outlier

For Unusuals, "rare" should be 1:1, 1:2 etc, not "none on the market".

And again, that both sales went fast doesn't mean it can support 24.

lets say we are talking about another hat

                        a... dp regge.

if 11 keys sold slow, even tho there are sales for quite higher, and it's logical to not include it (i mean,i'd buy it instantly. i bet the guy didn't have it open the whole time)

then the speed of the sale matters.

but not if it's for including something higher, which is also supported by sales.

i mean,i'll counter you. like i always do,but i'm trying to come to a reasonable solution.

edit:and a rare hat is defined by the lack of sales,so neither being 1:1,1:2 nor being not on the market. but i just shot that one so you can see the availability (or lack thereof )

Sure, you can buy the DP Reg for 11 keys instantly and I would love to see how you manage to sell it for 10. But either ways, the DP Reg result is still what I expect and want to see so it's fine.

Again, the sale is still outdated and I'm not willing to use it. I'm just following the guideline like how it was supposed to be.

Also, you can counter me whenever you want. As always, that's fine to me again as it doesn't bother me much.

                            the problem is i can't :P

i'd get declined by everyone, furthermore if i wanted to sell it for low,i could ditch it on SCM and sell for 12~

anyways,i always feel bad when you put in so much effort, and then i get useless suggestion rep that i don't need.

i only want hats to be priced right :-/

It's fine. Ever since I started to suggest, unlike other suggesters, rep has never been my priority.

Also, even if you resuggest and your suggestion is passed, my effort is not wasted as in either ways, the new price will always serve my main purpose so ye, just resuggest and as always, I won't mind :P
