you dont decide prices based on effects, you base them off sales.

welp, i paid 97 USD for it and that was too much lol so I feel as though 38-40 keys which is roughly around 89 USD seems more reasonable.

If you paid 97...

97 * 0.85 = 82.45 / 2.4 = ~34 Keys

if you bought this on PayPal, things would be different.

Since the trade was SCM the key price is dictated by what they go for on SCM.

Even if the price was perfect, you still have no proof to show us that the price is correct. You need links, screenshots, etc.

They're trying to help you. If you wish to make a proper suggestion then grab a screenshot of your SCM sale history and follow the SCM sale guidelines here to set up a proper price. If you do not do this then a mod will close this suggestion due to lack of proof and bad range.
