There is no way this will pass. I know tons of people who would pay over 100 keys for this in a heartbeat.. Plus this sale is outdated.

Fine downvote my comment. I was just sharing my thoughts. Even the steaming skullcap sold for over 100 keys. Also with 3 other bubbling Skullcaps I'm sure there are more sales. I understand that this hat is rare and retired so it will probably be hard to find more sales. I've made price suggestions before and study this site and it's items all day so I know the rules and how things work around here thanks :) Also the fact that you said you are trying to fix skulls tells me you don't know much about why they are so high in the first place.
LOL wait a second, if someone would pay over 100 in a hearbeat, then why is this priced at 51 keys?
The sale happend months ago and the person did not know how much more it could go for.
You know a hat can be updated increasing value with buyers, right?
It seems like you should have already learned that your 'thoughts' won't change the outcome of a suggestion.
I'm not trying to change the suggestion and I don't want to. I was just sharing my thoughts and if it gets passed that's fine with me.
Okay, buy it for 100 keys and show us your proof of trade and we can raise it ;-)

My point was that, in essence, you're trying to set a price, based off of the value of a different effect.
He asked if I would really pay 100 keys for a 3rd gen and I was just letting him know that I sold a third gen skull for more then 100 to prove that I would actually pay that for a 3rd gen. How am I trying to set a price if I was just replying to someones question? lol
To me, it seems like you are saying that to prove that all skullcaps are worth a helluva lot more than I'm suggesting *shrug*
I should not have to prove that. I thought everyone knew that. Seeing that you are not a high tier trader I guess I should not be surprised. Since you don't understand why I'll let you know.
1. Skullcaps are retired, which means that no more will be unboxed. Currently only about 30 exist which makes it more rarer than the noh mercy and haz.
2. They have high demand ( Just a example. peace sold for 400 on the market in one day http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25657345 )
3. If the bubbling one was put on outpost today you would see the demand. But most skullcaps are in collectors bp's so you probably won't see anymore on outpost for a while. Also there are none on the steam market.
If I had the chance I would pay 100 for that thing right now.

"Everyone knew that". Okay, then how do you explain the evidence against that statement? Namely, this sale proof. It was up for sale, yet nobody paid a even close to a hundred.
1.You could not track all the sales.
2.Like I said above "The sale happened months ago and the person did not know how much more it could go for"
3.Where and when was it for sale? If it was 3 months ago then I would not be surprised if it didn't go for much then. Talk to Gus and Der if you have doubts that it could for way more then 37 keys today.
4. As far as "Everyone knew that" I was talking about the present. If I knew skulls would be so high tier back then I would have bought all kinds myself.
I fail to see any sales I haven't been able to trace come to light that were of importance. If you are able to, please let me know what they contained. Second,what you said above doesn't matter. Anyone is welcome to trade at any price they feel like. If someone is willing to buy at the price, then that is what is recorded here. Third, there is a reason 3 month old sales are allowed. Radical changes don't often occur in that time-span. Again, it matters not what others think, evidence is king, as in any civil court of law. Last, your ending point is an opinion, and as such, doesn't pull much weight.
Exactly. I was just sharing thoughts about this hat and nothing more. If this suggestion gets passed that's fine :) I'll offer about 120 + keys in unusuals to one of the owners of the bubbling skull and see if he accepts.

Yeah 37 seems extremely low.
I don't think it's an unreasonable price, seeing as it isn't all that far of a difference between old and suggested prices. But if that's your verdict, I shall acquiesce.
