Just a question.... trying to learn...
The fez was 22-31 key ranged unusual which would make it 26.5 key average price and what the mid backpack.tf price would have been correct? So wouldn't 26.5 fez - 11 keys items = 15.5 keys . But even still, 24 keys calculated value minus 11 keys is still 13. What am I missing? I'm not quite sure i understand how the mini fits in, cuz I'm new to all this pricing stuff and eager to learn. I see you make quite a few good suggestions randy, thats why I posted this question here. Does it really matter what the person paid for the item they are trading? Shouldn't it just go off the bp.tf price at time of trade? Sorry for the newb-pricing question maybe, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Exscuse my ignorance. Inquiring minds want to know :-)
He's taking double overpay, which he shouldn't be doing for two reasons
1) Overpay is meant to be taken once
2) Highly likely offered on
His calcs are 24*.9(fez via mini)- 11 (keys in items)= ~11
Fez was outdated even at the time of the sale, so a mini is needed, bptf prices can only be used within 2-3 months for unusuals as proof without a mini.
ok, the overpay thing was confusing me but without a LOT of experience I wasn't sure if this was normal. Thanks for clarifying. And the need for a mini. Now it maks sense, but I still can't fgure out how with 23 of these in existence that it can't be ruled an outlier with only th one sale ? :-S I have a LOT tolearn yet :)
The fez's current price is outdated. By providing a mini-suggestion for the fez, he's showing a new value, and after that he's applied overpay again.

I would suggest to Randy that he take the new value (21.5)
The aces high familar fez is more like 21.5 keys. (~22 keys). However, considering that the seller of this hat added significant sweets for the fez. I guess it is safe to assume that this hat was offered on the fez. In addition to that, the seller does not have an active trade up. Taking 22 keys - 11 keys items, 11 key is coincidentally accurate. Accepting.
