I'm not sure where you saw paypal was involved. The seller(unboxer) wrote what he sold the hat for on the trade, before it was removed rather recently. Randy wrote down the sale in the suggestion just like I remember seeing.

If you can show proof, either by asking the unboxer or buyer to comment here with a screenshot showing paypal was added, or through another way, then feel free. Otherwise I will assume what I saw on the trade, with no paypal listed, was the correct sale.

Backpack.tf is meant to be pricing guide, you can choose to follow it or not. Our goal is to report sales on higher tier hats, we do not force you or anyone else to follow our prices at all. You may own the hats, but that doesn't mean you have to follow our prices 100% exactly

Anyways, mind posting a screenshot of your conversation with Jad? Or perhaps have him or Mario comment here with a screenshot of how much was added on paypal?
