Revenge of the Mini, Featuring Tesla's Electric Escorter
Sales:
Seems to have sold for a Bud (~March 26, 2015) when Buds were 9.5 Keys according to the spreadsheet.
Note: At this time, Unusual prices were still in Buds, which was until recently a form of currency. Original price of the Escorter was 1.1 Buds, which is consistent with this particular sale. The reversion to Keys occurred on April 1, 2015 (decidedly not a joke). May be outdated.

Sold for a Kill-a-Watt Stately Steel Toe (15 Keys)
Result: 15 Keys * 0.9 = 13.5 Keys; rounding down to 13 in light of Sale no. 3.

Suggesting at 13 Keys flat, unless additional sales surface that contradict this pricing, thereby necessitating a readjustment.
you round 13.5 to 14,not to 13.
This is not an official requirement. You can round either way, mathematically. I chose to round to 13 due to considerations of sale no. 3, which was a pure sale for 13 Keys. Please, don't nitpick.

"For all unusuals, please round to the nearest integer*"
*In computer science, the nearest integer function of real number x denoted variously by , , , nint(x), or Round(x), is a function which returns the nearest integer to x.
round(13.5) = 14
13.5 is equidistant from 13 and 14. I am no mathematician, but I thought that was obvious. I am still technically rounding to the nearest integer. To prove my point, the absolute value between 13.5 and 13 = 0.5 is the same as the absolute value between 14 and 13.5 = 0.5. Please, don't nitpick.
k then. can i counter you ?
There is absolutely no reason why you should counter me. I shall discuss this matter with a moderator, since this is close to being harassment. I have clearly explained my reasoning and you continue to ignore me.
i obviously can't persuade you. same with the beanie suggestion. so countering is obvious.
2 am here,so i'll just counter as i can't really wait.
You round a .5 integer up. This suggestion is mathematically wrong, the counter is correct.
Allow me to respond to the matter. I chose to round down the Unusual sale to 13 Keys for a couple of, I believe, very good reasons:
a) There was a pure sale for 13 Keys; pure sales always have more influence in determining a representative price.
b) Price of the Steel Toe is comparatively high, according to similarly-tiered particle effects -- Consider Vivid Steel Toe, which is only 14 Keys -- and
c) For reasons a) and b), the high-end in this counter is not as strong and likely unnecessary.
d) You can round from 13.5 Keys to 13, which is just as valid as rounding from 13.5 to 14 Keys.
I like people like you, willing to use strong logic and reasoning to argue against others (and you have good reasons).
However, I think there are a few mistakes. While you explained the "tiering" aspect and you're right, but this not a very strong arguement. Think of themed hats, the effect might be terrible compared to others but the hat itself adds value. Also, the "tiering" system we have is susceptible to change, making that argument arguably invalid.
Mathematically it is better to round up than to round down with 0.5's but the big thing here is tradition. At bp.tf we have a strong tradition of rounding up, it's one of the ground rules when the site was first created. While you could argue that 13 is just as valid as 14, but, tradition is like to have a stronger influence than your arguments. The only valid argument I have seen here is "c" (and btw, "a" is a statement, not an argument/reason). However tradition (and complex maths) overrules "c." Also "c" is slightly subjective from the statement " is not as strong and likely unnecessary." This is your opinion, clearly emphasised when you say "likely."
