Despite the larger amount of buyers, practically all of them don't have any offers nor have they bought a pass yet, therefore the buyers will have little effect on the final price.

    all of em are untradable

even with the sold at 3 with wrap, you can only price an untradable ticket - not a tradable one

But the majority of the passes will be sold for the price shown when the become tradeable, as many have already added the sellers as to buy the passes for the price they offered as soon as they become tradable.

then you'll price it when it gets tradable.

as far as i can see, these can be considered quicksell.

probably too soon to suggest. most of the passes bought on day 1 or 2 will be coming tradable today/tomorrow. should have waited for sold proofs and not jumped the gun :) anxious for your first pricing suggestion i can understand, but timing is important too

You can't price an item with offers. You have to have sales. And for the one that sold with gift wrap, you have to subtract the price of the gift wrap.

Well, after all, it it my first price suggestion, please provide any constructive criticism you think I should know.

This might seem like just flat out criticism but it's not.

People need to stop doing hard items for their first suggestion. It's obvious you didn't think this through because when you posted this suggest you had only 1 sale. Try starting off with something easier that isn't as difficult and work your way up.

The best first suggestion is probably dropping an item. Mostly an item that has a range.

              I 100% agree.

          "http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26351266 - 6 keys? (very confusing trade)"

They mean they're buying 2 for 6 keys, or 1 for 3 keys

            thankyou for clarifying that

why 3keys are u has see the sell

              Wat

He means that "Why are you pricing it at 3 keys, have you seen them sell?

"English, Motherf****er, do you speak it?!" --- Samuel L. Jackson.

First of all, people need to keep in mind that the majority of people who have received theses passes so far have bought them with funds rather than items. Second of all, this item is new and people would do anything just to get their hand on it, including overpay in keys, because if you take the price it is currently at in the TF:2 Store, its only a little bit more than the price of 2 keys, but when you look at the price of people buying this WITH keys, it surpasses the base price of 6.99 by a whole half a dollar (which for some people that means quite a lot of money on the community market, or even a new badge because now they have enough for their card collection completion).

                  So? What's your point?

The Comment you see that has been made by Box sums it up nicely, but allow me to further introduce to you the rising popularity in "Consumer Common Sense". As, hopefully, some of you have know, steam consumers have become more reasonable and smarter, especially the ones who had pushed the idea of the Steam Refund System that we all know and love. Thus, the people who you see in the evidence presented here have most likely not been using much common sense, especially the ones who have most likely been holding on to their keys that they had bought a while ago, seeing the new update and what comes with it (the campaign pass), and doing everything in the power of their mommy's credit card (yes, that pun was intended) to sell their keys or trade for the campaign pass in an exaggeratedly expensive manner (3 keys, 4 keys, and possibly even higher as evidence may be provided by RiGgEr1990's post).

Again, I ask you, what is your point? That people pay more than mann co. store price for gun mettle tickets?

Yes but not quite. They are doing it out of desperation.

No, they are doing it because they don't have steam wallet funds available to buy it directly from the mann co. store. So they overpay in in-game items. They are probs not doing it out of desperation.

I literally just said that in my past post, and that only provides more evidence that it is desperation. When the consumer is willing to pay more than the actual worth because they have no other way of purchasing it, it is called desperation.

Yes but you are assuming that they really badly want it and are willing to overpay heavily just to get their hands on 1 little ticket. Some people just don't have steam wallet funds and just want a ticket because they wanna do the new campaign stuff. Or they might just not know they are overpaying. You don't know that they are desperate, stop expressing your opinions.

You can get keys for 1.80$ easily as well. So yeah.

Sold both of mine for 4+ keys

                      Proof? Evidence?

Just wanted to clarify that I didn't sell mine to Toffy Tofferson. I sold my pass to someone that offered me 3 keys pure + SF Jarate (1 key) + Strange Candy Cane (0.44 refined) + Battin' A Thousand (1.66 refined). So in the end, it still sold for a little over four keys.

Who the hell would pay so much (3x2$, 6 $) when you can a cheaper one on official store

So, a grand total saving of 1 cent?

That adds up eventually! Do that 100 times and you have a whole dollar! :D

                          sold mine or 3 keys

                          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26431010#p63366176

also found a guy buying for 3 keys each

                          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26427069

Sold 2, one for 4 keys, the other for about 5 keys in items. Will provide evidence shortly.

                          This was my outpost. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26366551

                          Pice of key = 2.49 x 3 = $7.47.

                          Price of ticket $6.05

                          Should the price be lowered?

                          I mean great range but shouldn't it be 2.5 - 2.8 keys?

                          Pass = $5.99

                          Keys = $2.49

                          $2,49 x 3 =...ahh who gives a fuck anyway.

Not too bad for a first suggestion...its better then my first suggestion at least ;)

Keys are not 2.50. How do you still not know this?

I just took Mann Co. Store Price, but whatever...

Exactly, we don't use mann.co store prices.

Bought 1 for 2 keys + 3 ref: http://gyazo.com/8bee4476229fdf3964ab2455e9070fe5, seems an outliner though

Not a fair price, the pass is $6 USD amd 3 keys are $7,5 USD. Higher with $1,5 USD

If it's not a fair price, explain how people managed to sell it for 3-4 keys then.

First off, what Discovery said, secondly, Mann Co. Sells EVERYTHING for WAAAAY more than it's worth. So..

you can't wrap gun mettle campaign pass bruh

These can only be obtained as Non-Craftable.

                                      http://backpack.tf/stats/Unique/Gun%20Mettle%20Campaign%20Pass/Tradable/Non-Craftable

                                      Resuggest please.

                                        Thanks for pointing that out.

                                        Meh, seems good to me.

If the pass is 3 keys and it costs $5.99, thats like the price of 2 keys and 1/2. No one would buy keys from the store and the key economy would be ruined
