Yeah, I mentioned that I tried to get my screen recorder to work but it hasn't responded yet.

You don't need a screen recorder. All you need to do is press CTRL+ALT+PrtSc to take a screenshot. Then open up an editing program (MS.Paint, Paint.net, etc). Press CTRL+V to paste. Then edit out the unneeded stuff, save it, and upload it to imgur or a photo sharing website.
