I bought this 1/1 hat, then I sold it. A few weeks later, I decided to make a suggestion. So here goes:

Sale 1

Bought it for a Professional Killstreak Australium Knife from the unboxer.

We were already steam friends, and since I was paying with an aussie, we decided on no overpay.

I will value it at 36 keys, because that is the lowest non-hynpo-beam seller on classfields.

The unboxer (who is a good steam friend) sold the knife on the community market. I will ask him for how much when I get the chance.

My Price Suggestion

So there were only ever two sales of this hat, which I showed.

One of them was at 36 keys, and the other was at 64 keys.

I think it is fair of me to price it at 36-64 keys then.

The range seems a bit wide, it'd probably be better to use the more recent sale and leave it at a flat 64.

you should try finding more sales on the samur eye, current mini is too high

also you should include history links, makes it way easier for mods to accept a suggestion

Okay thank you that was really helpful. I didn't want to go into too much detail on the samur-eye "mini" - since I sold it at around 65, I used 65 as the price. I wanted to price this first, but maybe later I will try to price the samur-eye. Will also try to give history links like you said.

Unfortunatly the unboxer who was my steam friend before doesn't use backpack.tf, so he is not in either histories.

I like that you went through the minis step by step and in a logical manner, and didnt overinflate pro aus launchers. However, once you've got a mini on an item you dont need to apply overpay multiplier on it again since thats the equivalent of applying overpay on its pure value. Take 65 as is, add 5 keys to it to make the second sale 70. However, you'd have to kick one of them as outlier, which is kinda hard since the most recent sale takes priority, but I find it hard to think that a confetti would be that high. Ghosts and Arcana are close by. Best let a mod comment on this.

Though I'd guess that this would be called as a 'reporting-price' suggestion with the option to re-suggest later if any sales take place and just let it be.

I still have the guy who bought it from me on my friends list. Would it help if I found out if he got any offers?

Yes. Offers are a good way of determining outliers.

range seems too large

This is a bulk sale and a sale which is hard to prove, so probably unusuable, but the current owner sold all 4 of his unusuals - http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198130058321?time=1437030000 - for $250 + a Miami Nights Boxcar Bomber (as far as I know)

He sold all four to me for the Boxcar. I then sold all four + maybe 3-4 keys worth of random cosmetics and weapons for a strange Miami Nights Law. I doubt either sale is useable; the Boxcar is unpriced, the Gonzila that was part of both trades is unpriced, and the Miami Law price is out-of-date.

Yeah that makes way more sense. He told me he got $250 + boxcar XD. Either way, bulk sales are hardly ever usable.

However, this sale may be an outlier looking at the current seller on outpost failing to sell after 2 weeks at 38 keys http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26530022

The only other recent sales are all complex sales. So they are not usable.

It is probably best to wait for the current one on the market to sell before this is being priced. As it is, the high end is very high and most likely an outlier.
