You can't make a price suggestion only with one sell (which is also yours).
Wrong. It depends on the market. For example:
If the market has 8 pages on outpost, then yes. This wouldn't be enough.
But, this market only has one seller on Outpost. Therefore, this is actually enough.
So, you're wrong. Also, just because it's your trade, doesn't mean that you can't use it for proof.

The last suggestion for one of these, used only one person's trade. It was his trade. It didn't go through.. But.. I'm gonna remain neutral on this one.
I'm with you. I know this one has a very small market, but using just one trade to raise its value 9 times doesn't feel right to me.
What about if someone bought one of these for 1 ref, and then resell it to a friend/alt for 9 refs? How would we know if this is real or just manipulation?
I will stay neutral anyways. If a moderator could give us more info about this kind of suggestions it would be great.
