First non-unusual suggestion. I'm suggesting in ref, and that's not just a mistake on my part for once lol.
Classifieds at time of suggestions:
5x for 7.66
Ton of older listings for 8
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26630335 Unsold at 7.77
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26597162 Unsold at 8
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26574102 Unsold at 8
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26625477 Unsold at 7.55 (Poorly bumped)

Thanks, tell me if I did something wrong, because non-unusual suggestions are weird.
You have no proof for your suggested price :(
EDIT: 3rd link is invalid ish, you can't use posts saying: bp.tf price/mid bp.tf/bp.tf price minus 1 scrap.
If bp.tf price is clearly defined, what makes that any different than him saying 8? It is the same thing- him saying that=saying the number, just without actually saying it.
It's a rule. They have that in because people who say 'backpack.tf price' 99% of the time are just plain lazy and don't even look at the price as they just don't care.
Can you link me to that because a) I couldn't find any mention of that rule in the guide nor general rules, and b) That rule is nonsensical. Think about it- even if the seller didn't care enough to check, the buyers would- thus they would understand the soda popper costs 4 ref, and hence the fact it didn't sell still stands. If the buyers don't buy at bp.tf price, then the sellers concern is unnecessary info.
I agree with the rule. Why should their post count as evidence if they don't even take the time to understand it's true value? And sorry, worded it wrong. You can't use it it as primary proof. http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/36705-guide-for-non-unusual-suggestions/
#3 Please don't use trades of people "selling for bp.tf price" or "selling for bp price +/- x amount" as primary proof in a suggestion. These are poorly advertised sales that require the buyer to do additional work to figure out an item price. This usually means they will have a harder time selling, so these aren't the best trades to use to figure out item values. Use them as supportive proof but don't use these alone to define your range.
I don't think that the opinionated justification of "Why should their post count as evidence if they don't even take the time to understand it's true value?" is valid, but if it's a rule then I apologize. Regardless, there is still proof that represents the lack of sales. Thanks for the help.
Yes, I know that there is proof of lack of sales and that's why i'm upvoting :P. I was just trying to help you out with the 'bp.tf price'
You need to take a screenshot if using classifieds as main proof
Not using as main proof. It's just being added as extra. The links would be main proof.
Then where does 7.66 come from, you don't have any links for that
Classifieds are showing that people sell for a price. Outpost is showing that people aren't able to sell for current price. The classifieds are needed only to show I'm not putting up an arbitrary price.
It means they are main proof if you set the price based on them.
I get where you're coming from. To make life easy, I added a screenshot. Thanks for the advice.
Screenshot of classifieds, as noted by Juju. Thanks mate!
