You don't need to do a mini on a mini hat unless necessary, or of higher value.(See my Darkblaze Billy Suggestion)

You are correct. It doesn't make any sense to price a hat of another hat if that hat has a 2 year old price. Here it's only 4 months, but the concern remains.

Anyways - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26202006 - sold for a max quickly which was at the time 25 keys. Might be able to update the shako with this.
