I would leave this un-updated for now, since nothing can determine which one is an outlier (btw I'm updating the beak) which will be around 150 - 155 or 150 - 185

thats a very large range so i'd say no

I remember polar making this same comparison, only maybe at a different bud->key ratio. If you think your range is too wide, think of it as what it would've been in buds. 8-14 buds is an extremely large range, atleast when buds were 10 keys and still a currency it would be a large range.

Well, I assume I have to repeat myself... That sale was a 2:2. It's also using a more valuable item to price a cheaper item which isn't a valid sale in most cases, this being one of those cases.

It's really not, and as Merndy says, there are other reasons why that high-end is non applicable.

A range of both 80-130 or 90-130 are both too large, there is a point where it gets too far of what ranges are possible and what are not,

Eh you can do without the overpay in sale one, as the overpay is already done in the mini. This would give ~90 from the first sale.

The other sale would be ~145 after overpay basing on a range of 150-185 from this suggestion http://backpack.tf/vote/id/55ce6825ba8d8881588b4572. 2:2 is not a complicated sale, and the rule of not using a higher priced hat isn't as applicable here as the price difference between the two hats is not enormously large.

That would leave a range of 90-145, which is okay.

I'm sure you've already seen this, but I remember polar telling a while ago if you think a range is to wide, think of it in what buds are. This is when buds were actually worth something, and considered a currency. In this case think of it as it being 8 - 13 buds or 9 - 14.5 buds. That's an insanely horrible range.

The ratio of high end value to low end value should be equal to or less than 1.5:1, but it can be slight larger sometimes. 14.5:9 is about 1.61:1, and there have been range ratios at about 1.61:1 in the past.

I think that this helps for the Hazmat. The One already suggested for the Beak using this sale but closed it, waiting until this was resolved. Considering there is another sale at 130 for the beak (scorching facehugger) that would put it at 117, supporting the proposed high end of 130.

I'm just going to counter at this point. Not going to necessarily use that GGJr Beak sale, but it does support the high end.

I made this nearly a month ago, at this point I don't care about the suggestion anymore. Have a blast.
