Yes spoilers says it all.

I sold my, now [i]no longer mine[/], Morning Glory Sultan's Ceremonial for about ~60 keys

40+18 = 58 keys, might as well round to 60, Considering two facts:

1) No current listing of O. Planets Noble Amassment in bp.tf and a person selling at B/O of 20 keys, offered 17 pure [url]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26458159[/url]

2*) He paid a lot more in actual in SCM

overpay on the amassment?

I am not sure how to approach this, like I said its my first time. And I do believe that overpay is compensated by actual money paid, which ends up at 60 keys nonetheless. (refer to link after * ) Correct me if I'm wrong ^^

So, let me get this right, it sold for $100 SCM + Planets Amassment? Was a little hard to figure out.

You'll have to make a range due to the nature of the sale:

100/2.49 = 40 (this is what the buyer pays for it)

AND

100/1.15/2.49 = 35 (this is what the seller receives for it)

All SCM sales will make a range like this, because you not only need to factor in what someone pays for it, but how the seller receives for it, too (as they are different numbers)

The Amassment is also outdated as its value was last updated six months ago. I just put up a suggestion for it:

So we should take the Amassment at 15-20, mid value being 17.5. Pretty close to its older value. After overpay, this is ~16.

I'd add that onto our SCM values from earlier (35 and 40) to give us 51-56.

Finally, there's that one key to factor in - we'll just take it off as it was sold with the Sultan. This gives us 50-55.

Reckon you could re-suggest at that range? If you have any problems with this, ask away, it's a rather complex scenario and I want you to be happy with this :P

Greetings, thanks for the feedback. Here is the clarification, I had listed the Sultan's at $100 profit to me, as such, it becomes $115 with taxes. However, as the link denoted by * shows, he saw it at 150 Canadian Dollars, which means it was 130 CAD to him without tax, that's a severely higher price after converting to USD. Hope this helps. Excuse my not-so-clear proof :/

The taxes are taken off the value - the seller sells it for $100, and receives $85. The $15 is the tax here, it's taken off and Valve keeps it (?)

Different currency shouldn't really matter here - USD is used for valuing items (if used at all) and that's always subject to change. Generally, we defer to Steam's judgement on keeping currency conversion as accurate as possible.

But like I said, I listed it at: Receive $100, and Buyer Pays 115 USD. Ignore the CAD and USD misunderstanding, I guess they amount to same values (ie: 150 cad = 115 USD which is what he bought for, then I recieved $100) I guess it was Mizfault on the matter of actual money paid, I made a mistake there.

So, re-doing my math here:

115 / 2.49 = 46

115 / 1.15 / 2.49 = 40

Adding on the Amassment and taking the key off, this gives 55-61 (which you can round to 55-60 if you want). Could you re-suggest with this range?
