CLASSIFIEDS

That scary buy order at 2.66 is the only thing preventing me from making a suggestion at 2.66.

This price, 3.33, is based off current classifieds.

Go ahead if you can provide any kind of advice or support.

You need 3 listings at 1 price to base a price off of a Classified.

There's a total of 3 listings for 3.33 and below. Doesn't that make 3.33 a valid choice? Also, please tell me what price you would've picked in this case.

I don't know what price I'd set it at, since there's not tons of proof for any of those numbers in Classifieds.

But there is more than enough proof to suggest that it needs a drop. And as I said, I would pick another amount if it wasn't for the 2.66 buy order. This suggestion either goes like this or doesn't go at all.

Also, it's impossible to have "tons of proof" in such a small market. I gotta work with what I got.

      - Lowering Item Values

Valid unsold trades are (1) those that have been bumped at least once and have been up for at least 1 day on trading sites and (2) common classifieds listings (at least 10 at a particular price point). http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/36705-guide-for-non-unusual-suggestions/

as i already said, you should really try to read the guidelines before spamming more suggestions

My unsold has been up for 6 days. Bumped 3 hours ago. I really don't know what you're smoking. The small market explains the lack of sellers on Classifieds, which isn't obviously my fault like you're assuming. I'd suggest you'd keep it down. If you're accusing me of spamming suggestions, that's quite the statement. But I'll try not to take too seriously the critics of a 1-accepted-suggestion-user.

how about taking advice from a user with 91.65% ratio, 1677 votes and 47000 completed trades ? there are at least 4 live suggestions of yours that fall outside polar's guidelines. and i'm not accusing you of spamming suggestions, but rather inaccurate suggestions. but sure, have it your way and piss against the wind.

Well that opinion of yours sure changed quickly. I guess you paid little to no attention to my credentials, seeing you were so proud to display yours. But you really have little to be proud of. You don't follow backpack.tf's pricelist, and go with your own opinion as pricing method. You've been doing that for years, now, I even recall you selling those old halloween sets for absurd amounts, after getting the pieces one by one for almost nothing. I'm really sorry, I don't know what people's standards are here, but I can't take you seriously. You come here, holler about a couple rules, while you are the one not following any when it comes to making profit. And the fun part is: this is a fact, not just my opinion. The sad part is that I'm the one getting these arguments thrown in my face. I am not gaining absolutely anything from this suggestion. I honestly think I've done a nice work here, and there are does who already appreciate my suggestions.

i'm not gaining anything either - and i'm not commenting on suggestions for gain. as you said, i make my own prices because, unlike you or a part of the community, i understood a long time aog that the bp prices are recommended prices, while the real ones are those determined by supply/demand ratio at a given time. not sure why you say that my opinion changed quickly, but to be honest, i don't care. you're right, you've done an amazing job, keep it up.

http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/1162-how-to-use-backpacktf-properly/ "There are no set prices in trading. People can ask/pay whatever they want. / Backpack.tf provides the average value an item is traded for. Meaning the item can sell for more/less than the listed price. "

I don't want a cookie. I want people to stop being huge c*nts over my suggestions for stupid reasons. I welcome critics cause they will always help me out but I won't tolerate being ridiculed, or pictured like a retard by a profiteer like you. I think I've actually figured out why you got so mad with me in particular, pointing fingers at my suggestions. The more prices are stabilized by these suggestions, the less chances you have of selling your own goods for big money. That's probably why you seem to know the rules well, but still aren't up to make any suggestion of your own. The more price inaccuracy, the more profit, ain't that right? But that's just me, of course.

this will be my last comment on this - i've spent too much time on it already

i tried to point out the errors in a very decent way, directing you to polar's how-to and you chose to ignore me. my profit has nothing to do with the suggestions - it's all the same if i add a rec to a 3 ref item or a 4 ref item - it's even better because i invest less and make the same profit. if rules are stupid reasons for you, well, have another cookie. you deserve it.

There are tons of suggestions made everyday - i have no problem with 99% of them. yours are just bad.

Guess they are. Too bad it's not your own personal dictatorship which comes into play later, it's community feedback. Learn some respect kid, cause you ain't going nowhere this way.

oh god what a wall of text battle here

someone explain me shortly here pls

dude congrats on getting 0 suggestions to yellow belt out of a single price change session. that's like a record

Many thanks. My comments still get downvoted to oblivion tho. That's a pity.
