I really think it's time to give this hat a price...
Sold for 35 keys in items

I know what you mean, but the guy who sold it before DID sell it for items, and he did try to make a suggestion at around 30-35 keys, which was rejected.
It was rejected because it was done improperly. You need to:
Price every item and add each one up. This means outdated unusuals need a mini, skins should be based of off sales on the SCM.
Then apply overpay by multiplying the number you got above by 0.9. That will be your final price, rounded to the nearest key.
If there are any other recent sales those need to be added too.

Thank you. This is my first time though, and as it's quite a new effect there aren't many recordings of sales, but I did what I could! :)
