This is a change in the mean price from 3.1 to 3.15, much less than 5%.

Care to give any justification for this suggestion?

As much as I'd cry about that, I would think this could be an exception ignoring the median.

This is making the range more accurate from a rather broad range rather than adding a 1 scrap lower low end.

Well, the rule states MEAN price for a reason. We'll see.

yeah the 5% rule is one of the most broken suggestion rules because there aren't any stated exceptions

you pretty much have to guess whether that item falls under the 5% rule

Everything that falls under the 5% rule I'm just staying neutral now. It's a 50-50 chance whether it's accepted or not. Although, in a range it makes sense for it to be an exception.

"If the change is less than 5%, you can make the suggestion but you must provide a rationale for why the change is needed. "

The problem with youtube's suggestions and why he finds inconsistency is that he never provides a rationale. Sometimes mods will survey the market and feel like the change is necessary. But if you don't provide justification, it's completely fair game to close it.
