Sale
1.2 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26959928 took week to sell
if its painted it supports it :D
nope, you cant make a price like that
Not sure if you can use it since it's painted.
he said he isn't including the paint in the price http://i.imgur.com/PS7oLII.png
But still. Painted items usually can't be used as proof so is with killstreak items but I remember doing a suggestion where the weapon costed like 5 keys (think it was a collectors) and it had normal killstreak. In that case mods decided it was okay. I will remain neutral for now on this suggestion.
It's simple. Painted items are supposed to be worth more than non-painted. If a painted item sells (not quicksells) for lower than non-painted price, it's safe to assume that the non-painted is worth less than current price. How much less? We don't know, but it's certainly closer to 1.2 than 1.3 in this case.
This doesn't apply when trying to increase a price, which makes painted/killstreaked items invalid in most cases.
normally, when items are painted, it usually means it is sold for higher
but if there's a seller/sale at a lower price with a paint or other attachments, it indicates that it needs a drop
still valid
Lowering a price using a painted cosmetic is perfectly valid. You could question the accuracy of the price due to the added value of the paint ( For example, you could argue that this price should be even lower), but since we can't quantify that, lowering it to a perhaps slightly higher than absolutely precise price certainly beats having an obviously high price.
we can, the seller said he isn't including the paint in price and is just plain selling the hat at 1.2 keys.
It shouldn't matter if the seller is "including" the price of the paint or not. Clearly it needs to be lowered, which beats leaving it at the current price. This is just my opinion though, perhaps the mods think differently.
it would appear that the 1.2 key seller, sold,
and unless outpost is being slow on me, on the steam market. It sold like 3 min ago
for the 1 key 3 ref?
yup, the user added a bootlegger but that doesnt change the price too much
ty
no problem
Item history still shows it as belonging to the seller. It was unsold for a week with > 100 views anyway so it should still be valid for lowering the price.Edit: Ninja'd by the seller himself
