Yes, your sale is valid, but the sellers that are selling for 1.66 are just a few. Backpack.tf is based on prices that are frequently traded, and not because one or two sales are being sold for 1.66 ref.

Well I thought the frog didn't explain it very well, so I'm just trying to be clear. I don't mind to say it twice or even more as long as the person who doesn't understand it now understands it. If you don't find my comment helpful, then what I can say is that at least I tried.

Why are people disliking my comment? I said nor did I do anything wrong. It was not a quicksale, It took more than a day to sell and I wasn't quickselling it, the only reason that I was selling it for under it's current price was because I couldn't sell it for it's current price. I had been trying to sell it for the current price for a few days and no one would buy it, so I started selling it for 1.66 ref to see if anyone would take it for that and it took more than a day to sell at that price. though it was on a trade server so half the people on there weren't paying attention to the people in the chat announcing their trades I've sold things on the server quicker than how long it took for me to sell the case at that price. I was not quickselling it and it did not sell quickly.

Perhaps, but I don't really have enough sellers below 2 red to put it in the range. I'm sticking with 2 flat as a conservative drop

the two trades I posted have sold, more evidence for the need of a range, though the 1.77 ref might be a quicksell as for the 1.66 seller he sold in almost a day so it should be valid.

Idk... there are 56 sellers in classifieds for 2 ref vs 4 sellers at 1.66. As roller said, 2 ref seems to be the most common trading point - sure, the occasional seller/sale at 1.66 comes up, but 2 ref is traded most often

I'm looking at outpost now, 2 of your 2 ref sellers quicksold, so if I find that there are not a lot of sellers at 2 ref on outpost I'll try countering, otherwise I'll let it go.

It's a conservative drop dude, it'll be much lower soon enough, it's dropping pretty fast making it hard to pinpoint a price on it. As I said before, 2 ref is an ok price for now - not to mention 1/2 the OP trades are highballing and the few others are mostly 2 ref.
