Always did seem low to me
SALES;
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26117267 Sold for DBD TC (115)
Capped at B/O of 95.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26895737 B/O of 83
Let it ride. Only usable recent sale.
Isn't "capped at B/O" only for when it sells for more pure than asking price?
Yes, let's say the sale is 90, and the B/O is 80, then since the guy who was selling the unusual wanted 80 and the trade shows more than wanted, you would have to stick with the B/O of the trade.
90 in pure or unus? And I mean when an unu sells for another unu.
Same goes with unusuals. If the sale is higher than the B/O, you have to go with the old sellers B/O.
I'll guess you mean sale in pure. My question was why he decided to go with the B/O and not apply overpay on the TC.
Because 115 * 0.9 is more than 95.
I thought that would be obvious
And? You haven't shown it'd be an outlier or something. At least give a reason why you decided to go that way.
Because the B/O for THAT SALE was 95. A trades value can't exceed it's B/O.
Then why does overpay when someone pays with an unu exist? At least explain me the ocassions in which it's capped by B/O other than pure sales higher than B/O.
If the value after overpay is higher than the B\O, it's capped at the B\O.
I suggest you consult the rules a bit before spamming suggestions like this, this rule is not an obscure one and people of a shorter fuse won't tolerate it
Good question, I don't know why either since there was no offers on outpost, unless I'm blind. BUT, if you apply overpay to the DBD TC, it comes out as 104, still over the B/O of 95.
Is this not obvious? Do I have to spell out basic math now?
Eh. Doesn't the sale at 115 sound like an outlier when there's the sitting b/o at 83 for 3 weeks. Usually when someone pays way over the b/o, it's a red flag that the sale is an outlier.
Well, that's why I've capped at B/Os?
Well capping at b/o doesnt eliminate it as an outlier. I 100% agree with polar here.
You would :P
