taking 12-16, polar's sage advice

If 12 was declined and 13/15 were quicksells, why not 16 flat?

I don't really agree with him tbh. If the bulk of lower sales need to be included due to the common trading point thing, then it should be 10-16. 12 seems a random low end to take just as a nod to lower sales. Either they're valid (due to frequency of sales there) and should be included or they're invalid and they shouldn't, imo. If mods don't think so then that's their call but seems an arbitrary figure to put on it.

I still think 10-16 is fine.

            Ah, well... we agree then.

why though? It's proven it can get more than 10 with ease, 10 shouldnt be in the range

The amount of time a hat sells for x amount is more important than how quick the hat sells, normally. Sometimes people get lucky.

We are after common trade points. If an item sells 100 times for 11 keys and once for 16 keys, it should be priced at 11 keys regardless of how fast it sold for 11 keys. 11 keys is the most common trading point.

but in this case we have sales at:

                    10,10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, where all of the sales from 12-15 are pure

3 pure sales should override 3 unusual sales

We do give preference to pure sales. So that is a fair justification to me. Arguments could be made for both 10-16 and 12-16. Probably would go with the votes on this one unless another mod wants to chime in.

Where's the sale at 12? 12 is a nonensical low end, based only on an offer that was declined, unless I am missing something.

10-16, 13-16, 16 flat... all of these make more sense than 12-16. If you're gonna base it on pure sales then 13-16 makes the most sense. There is no justification for including a declined offer in the range, I don't get it at all. It doesn't make a lot of difference in this case, but is a weird precedent to set.

sale at 12 is in the comments of the previous suggestion, it's the lowest pure sale

                            That's the sale at 13...

I see a sale for 11 keys and 10 ref in the comments which is almost 12.

I see someone saying that, but no proof of it, and a declined offer of 12 in this suggestion.

I'm gonna stop commenting. It doesn't make a lot of difference either way in practice, mean is about the same regardless, just seems an odd precedent to set for future suggestions is all.
