Only other macabre mask's on the market are going for 1 key.

You just bought one. What price did you pay? You don't seem to have lost a key, but instead only lost 1.66 in metal.

It doesn't matter about another variant's price. The Collector's Bat Outta Hell is priced at 90 Keys, but it is well worth over 100+ Keys, yet the Haunted version is only 75 cents.

Are you actually comparing a collector's to a haunted or did i misread?

The core part of his argument is that one variation is cheaper than another, so why buy the more expensive one. Collector's are an extreme case, but it gets the point across that this way of trying to think about items is incorrect. I could have used the Spellbinder's Bonnet, Horrific Head of Hare, The Wraith Wrap, etc to mimic his original argument, but I thought the most extreme case would have the greatest likelihood of getting the point across.

the sale of 1.66ref was a quicksell, as in i bought it when i saw it (cant actually tell if it was under a day since it was on classifieds, but it did say last bumped like 6-7 hours ago)

That sale is an outlier and with only SELLERS at a key while no one buying it for that I'm gonna have to downvote, small market but even with that sellers and a sale that is an obvious outlier until someone else buys it for that aren't valid proof.

It would be an outlier if there was many sellers/sales at lower. Seller doesn't negate a sale at the same price.

well with only one person ever having bought it at this price, I don't think it is a valid price until I see people buying it at this price. Is there even a reason for this jump in price? As the OP said, he has bought many of them at 1.66 ref.

You'd be lucky if you could dig up a different sold within the past few weeks. Unique Halloween items from 2013 (for the most part) are dominated by 1 or 2 solds/unsolds when raising or lowering the price because of their rarity and niche market.

Actually according to this suggestion (1 sale for 9 keys vs a price of 2-3 keys) actually makes it valid. Selling something, even if the buyer is a desperate person throwing keys around wildly, counts as proof. So as long as 1 single sale suggestion is valid, then all of them must be, right? Unless there are ones being sold for 1.66 still somewhere.
