So i like buckets. yep.
There is 1/1 in the world, and i just bought for a Pro KS strange MW purple range sniper rifle.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26806172 a field tested one sold for 50 keys. the strange MW purple range is worth 21 more dollars on the SCM. 21/2.5~8 keys

Hopefully this is enough proof.
Despite what has been pointed out by others, there seems to have been another sale (~august 10th). I cannot check it at the moment as historical views of backpacks are bugged for me atm, but if its a trackable sale, it should be used
downvote, you need two sales 'cause you're reselling it
i still don't get where did 58 come from
the minimal wear one is worth 8 keys more than the 50 for field tested. MW is one more tier up from field tested, and the pro ks adds the same amount of keys to the item. does that clear things up?
Below ....
The Strange MW Purple range sells for around $45: http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Strange%20Purple%20Range%20Sniper%20Rifle%20%28Minimal%20Wear%29
The Pro. Ks. kit sells for around the same price: http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Professional%20Killstreak%20Sniper%20Rifle%20Kit
Let's say it rounds to $100, it is ~40 keys at most.
Edit: also, it's 1/1 and the sale isn't at least a month old, so this is invalid until then (check unusual guide here http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-guide-for-unusual-price-suggestions/ )
it doesn't matter that the sale isn't a month old... it matters that he's reselling it http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27118571
Well, if it's not 1 month old, then the fact that he is reselling is important. If it's a month old, then the sale can be used even if he is reselling it.
My point is, even if he wasn't reselling it the sale couldn't be used for the next month, unless he was a collector or something.
Edit: Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:
- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months
- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.
