Resuggestion of my first suggestion. Still play nice pls ;-;
Phew, suggesting is hard
Note - I bought mine for a universal specialized kit, which was fluctuating like crazy. He also said he was overpaying in items when he offered, but I wasn't sure how much. I just liked the hat tbh. I'm not going to include that as proof because of all the variables, but you can still consider it.
Sale #1:
Recently sold mine for 18 keys pure: http://i.imgur.com/0xfzg02.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ZZ55bbh.jpg
Sale #2:
Sold for steaming AA + 2 keys + shred alert + lurker's leathers
BP before: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198057175712?time=1443510000
BP after: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198057175712?time=1443596400
Pricing AA at 16 (mini), adds up to ~20
On his trade he was asking for 20 pure ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27138047 ) and 25 in aussies; this offer was obviously not 25, so I'm assuming he liked the items and didn't want overpay or I'm missing something which he gained between the two backpack instances.
Thanks to ᴊᴘᴅ for the links, bp.tf was acting weird and I couldn't check D:
Sellers:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27104188 @ 20 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27117247 no b/o, poorly bumped
[Outlier] Community market: http://i.imgur.com/xY0D3Xu.jpg asking £138.19 (lolwut), current market price of keys is £1.60, hat comes to ~86 keys
Buyers:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27148150 @ 13 - Quickbuying trade, also buying stormy dragonborn for 13 (see mini below)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27140810 @ 12 - Another quickbuying trade, also buying Miami dragonborn for 12 (other mini)
Minis
Steaming Armored Authority
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27171400 @ 16
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27170338 @ 16
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27141269 @ 16.5
These minis are really just here to determine those quickbuyers' rates, i.e how much of a discount they want, so you can work out from that what they value them at.
Stormy Dragonborn
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27118995 @ 21
Prices a terror-watt the same as stormy, meaning he values a terror-watt at the same price as stormy; 21 keys
Miami Dragonborn
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27160833 @ 18
Same thing applies, he values a terror-watt at 18 keys
Other proof/counter proof welcome
Sale 2 : AA is outdated + overpay has to be applied
I did check prices on the AA, I should have mentioned. You're right about overpay, although he was asking 20 pure on his trade and asked for 25 in items. Given that that obviously wasn't 25, I assume he liked the items and didn't want overpay. Or I'm just missing something which he gained between the two backpack instances.
You have to apply a 0.9 factor on non-pure items
http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet-full-guide-soon-to-follow/
Without the mini on the AA, should be x = (16 + 1 + 0.5)*0.9 + 2 = 18 keys.
You have to make a mini on the AA now
Ok, in that case sounds like 18 flat would be better. I also already did a mini on the AA, above the Miami and stormy dragonborn ones.
Well, plenty of sales the last 2 months on the AA, I'm afraid that B/Os won't be enough for making the mini here
again, those sellers and buyers are unnecessary and mean nothing. and you don't use minis for buyers
Not completely unnecessary, it shows what people value them at
I could sell a Bat Outta Hell for 100 keys, but that doesnt mean its 100 keys. Buyers/sellers are still unneccesary.
But nobody will be that dumb to sell it at 100?
Showing the whole market is quite an important thing towards suggestions as it shows that you know how high the high-end should be and how low the low-end should be and won't make any careless mistakes like some of the top contributors do. They might be unnecessary, but in my opinion, it will be convenient to show them in a suggestion as it also shows whether it has been sold or not.
What I meant to convey is that no one is selling for less than 20. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear, but like I said I am new to suggesting.
Ah, ok. Like 김수현 said, dont really need the buyers.
sellers are fine. they can be support
but as for the quick buyers, they mean nothing, because everybody wants to buy at cheaper prices. what bothers me more is that you're getting minis for irrelevant hats
The only reason I included the quickbuyers was to show a vague price comparison to an already-priced hat, therefore giving sort of an idea as to what people value the hat at. In no way do I mean to say this is an accurate method of pricing unpriced hats, nor did I use the exact values to give a price range. I simply used those to back up and make sure the range I am suggesting fits.
again, comparisons don't matter. like... at all
As I said I'm new to suggesting so I didn't realise. I mainly did it for myself to make sure my range was realistic, and I figured I would include it anyway. Thanks for the advice :)
I don't blame you. my first couple of suggestions were cancer
lol, practise makes perfect I guess
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27104188 GE Sola topi, would be capped at b/o of 20
Fits perfectly as support for the highend
