It's possible this hat's value is being unfairly dragged down due to the complexity of the sale :s

Idk, value seems about right to me, they're all inflated as heck. Not really that complex a sale. It's possible the seller thought the fortunate son was worth more, but that happens all the time and we ignore what people think things are worth. Either he's right, in which case then the 45 key suggestion shouldn't have passed, or he's wrong in which case I don't see anything wrong with using the sale here.
