100 should probably be in the range, given the sale at 120. You should never "ignore" a sale.
Especially since the 70 sale is actually nearer 80, too.
The kid who paid 120 in Australiums was a novice trader, and the 100 seller hasn't sold in a month.
The status of the trader has no relevance to the significance of the trade. It's not an outlier value.
And that's why we're not pricing this at 100 flat. 70-100 is a much more representative value, given the sales.
Actually, the status of the trader is very relevant. Some traders tend to overpay a ton and polar has ignored certain sales from those traders iirc.
The 120 sale is also exactly 2 months old today.
No, it isn't. We don't not include high sales from good negotiatiors, we don't not include low sales from bad negotiators.
We use sales from unboxers, we use sales from collectors buying for keeps. The value is what matters. And that value, 100, is not an outlier.
2 months isn't too old considering the amount of sales you have.
120 keys is an obvious outlier when there are unsolds at 100. There is no indication that the seller would have taken 100.
2 months is old enough to exclude the 120 keys sale, even though it's already an outlier by itself.
I'm not saying 120 should be in the range, I'l saying 100 should be. Because of the sale.
The current seller has offers above 70, and is evidently ABOUT to sell for more than 70.
No, it isn't. Read the rules.
Last comment before I counter.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26883325 - looks like another sale might be happening here soon
When that sale happens, I'll resuggest.
