I'm only making this price suggestion because I saw that the previous suggestion only mentioned my purchase and not this one.

We discussed it and agreed that 80 was a good quicksell price
Here is the most recent price suggestion

If i'm reading the rules and guidelines for price suggestion right, aren't we not supposed to use "quicksell" or "quickbuy" trades?
can't make a range with one sale
Also, the Cottonhead mini you provided would make it 63.5 * 0.9 = 57.15 keys
You need minies on the Dragonborn helmet and Plug-in prospector as they are outdated
If you had read the rules more thoroughly you would've noticed that you need to apply unusual overpay and make minies for outdated hats.
Where does the 0.9 come from? also does that mean i should make price suggestions for the outdated hats or just link recent sales of them here?
General rule of unusual overpay is 0.9
To make mini suggestions on the outdated hats, you should find one or more recent sales and estimate a value from that.
Understood, thanks. Also the last suggestion only used one sale but it got voted up, how does that work?
The last suggestion only needed one sale because it was the only one
What we're saying is you can't make a range out of thin air. In example, if you're using a sale that sold a hat for 30 keys, the price you set should be 30, not 26-30. Your range has to reflect on the sales you gave
yeah m0rxx already explained it pretty well
your range comes from nowhere
In my range i used the first sale of the DaD cotton, using the low end of the hats to price the low end for this hat (60+48+20=128), and used the high end (72+48+32=152). You could use the second sale making the range increase (55+48+20=123) but i figured it was big enough already.
You should only use median prices for the hats you're calculating with. So instead of a hat being 60-80 keys, it should valued as 70 (the median price), and thereafter you apply overpay.
Like this: 70 * 0.9 = 63
Sold for Duped Orb. Fire KE + Duped Secret Old Guadalajara + 6 Keys + Max

Secret Guad:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27420779 - sold for ~70
Multiple sales on the KE seem to be around 60 (time warp guad, ooze tower). That should be close to the high end here.
i would have considered accepting this but the person who paid 150 is now selling it for 90 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27437043
I think it's hard to tell what the range should be here. Best to wait for more sales.
