I think they were just put off by my white belt, and the brevity of my suggestion. It's fine though, I know that as a white belt, I'm going to be subjected to such quick judgement.

That's true, but those that give criticism shouldn't be so quick to be negative. It's pretty obvious which of them don't even read what they comment on. They should know better.
