1of1 in the whole world and previously valued at 50-70

i have bought this hat off Admiral for http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=550394107

- Green Confetti Modest (your price is 39-44 )

-Steaming Ballcap (your price is 15-23 and lets be honest no one will sel a nice hat for scout like that for less than 20)

-wrapped shades which is around 3-4keys including wrap

so with these prices this offer was valued at around 70~ keys (44+23+4=71 upper end of both.tf) and was in 1st gen easy to sell hats

the big man himself got added alot of times for offers trying to force this brigade off his hands with offers such as:

-Something Burning This Way Comes Bone Dome (valued up to 72 keys)

-Volatic hot air + g.fetti tartan tyro + sweets + scm funds ($15) (when voltage hot air was 50-60)

im pricing this hat at the full 70 instead of 50-70 as this is around what i paid for it and the offers have been around... this isnt saying i will sell the hat for a price as low as 70 i just see that raising the price by a little bit is better than leaving the hat at the unjustic of the low price of 50

You can't just go "not using bp.tf prices" on bp.tf, that isn't how this works.

Come back with some actual values and maybe this'll pass. Not until then though.

how are you getting that 41.5 (mid range of 39-44) + 19 (mid range of 15-23) plus 3.5 (mid range of 3-4) = aprox. 74? what kinda "math" is this?

also you value your sale at 74keys, but why are you suggesting at 70??

Thank you for the input as I have now changed it, the price before was with different prices which I have now altered, I am only pricing at 70 as that's the upper end of the already fixed price and the hat has sold multiple times for 70 in the past as show on the previous pricing of this hat. I see the price of 70 being realistic for a price to put on BP.tf

you're suppose to take mid range, not high end, when you value the stuff you traded for this

you can't arbitrarily decide on 70keys because it "sold multiple times" for that in the past (which was too long ago, those sales are outdated, if there are any sales within the past couple months at 70, show them)

If you are going to or have changed it, create another suggestion

ehh, you cant just take values like that. Youll need minis on both of those hats since the prices are outdated. Seeing how the seller is reselling for those amounts, they probably wont be higher.

- You cant value hats at their high end. They have a range for a reason.

- Bone dome is 63 keys, not 72.

- Voltaic hfoha is unpriced and I can tell you its not 50, let alone 60.

Hello there. I appreciate that you're spending your time to suggest on backpack.tf. However, the suggestion here has a lot of flaws which mainly could be found why in the rules of suggesting on backpack.tf. Suggesters would need to follow this rule to in order to suggest or else their suggestion will get closed. Same for Outpost as well as there is certain rules that you must obey in order to use that site.

Some mistakes that you did here are:

1. You're currently valuing all of the unusuals at the high-end of the price that backpack.tf has. You should be valuing those unusuals at their median. This is because as Foamy has said above, range exists for a reason, and if you didn't use the median in every suggestion, then the suggestion itself would be inaccurate, causing it to have a false price. Backpack.tf here aims for prices that can represent pure, so really, valuing unusuals at the high-end won't get you anywhere. Plus, you won't go and value every unusual that someone offers by their high-end, do you?

2. For unusuals that has an outdated price (i.e. 3 months or more), you would be requiring a mini-suggestion on that unusual that you're using to suggest to be included in the suggestion because most likely, prices on backpack.tf that is 3 months outdated or more are inaccurate, causing the value of an unusual to have a false value. I didn't come up with this idea, but I do agree with why would you need the mini-suggestion. You can choose to include it in the space provided, or make a new one. What's required in a mini-suggestion is just another sale of the unusual to prove that it has a certain amount of value.

Yes, I know it sounds like a lot of pain, but as you do more, you'll get used to it. Hope you now understand what to do and avoid to do the same mistake next time!
