It took a very short time for it to sell - definitely an outlier, surely.
can someone explain what an outlier means?
I'll explain with an example
There are sales at 34, 36, 37, and 72. You tell me which one is the outlier
its 72 right?
Correct (so many dislikes on my comment. what did I do?)
i have no idea xDD
seeing as the only other sale was on steam market for <$200 USD
I'm pretty sure you're just making shit up as you go along
But that trade was up for 3 days. For a hat worth even 100 keys, you could argue that's a quicksale.
you said, and I quote "definitely an outlier"
quicksales and outliers are entirely different things.
But that's the thing. Most of the time, a quicksale is below the actual value of a hat. This hat was only up on Outpost for a few days, and in situations like this, the hat generally re-sells for more.
Quicksales generally tend to be outliers, too. Of course, sometimes they're still used for conservative rises (like on the unusual taunts recently) but most of the time, they tend to be outliers.
Seems like a shark to me
his bo was 300 pure
it was there for days.
Yes it was, thank you:)
If only I had the pure at the time :p
you thought wrong.
you can't go higher. you sure as hell can go lower.
I really shouldn't make comments on things at 1am.Thank you, I just wanted to clarify, I tend to make this mistake often. =~=
It's back on the market, so this won't be valid for (at least) a month.

Edit: and from what i see there, the Mohawk and Hive were involved in the same trade. Where does the 260 come from without a mini on the Hive?
Technically, all unpriced unusuals suggested at 200+ keys in value can be priced off one sale, but in this case it's probably best to wait for another sale seeing how low this feels
Oh right, forgot about that rule. But as you say, 260 (?) for a misty skull all-class hat feels really low.
i sold it for pure though, i did receive a couple of trade offers at 350-400 in unusuals but i went with the pure instead
The trade was up for days, IMO not a quicksale, and its back up on the market yes. But I don's see this suggestion being approved anytime soon. By the time it is (If it is) it will be past a month and therefore valid. I agree its a bit low but it's not up to me to chose the price. Yes it feels sharked but it technically it's not. The owner was asking for 300k (Low to begin with) pure and got around that price.
P.S. If anyone can do a mini for the Beehive that would help me out cus I can't find another sale. I'll re-suggest then. Thank you guys for your time:)
Well, it was sold already for something around 400 keys:

And guess what, it's back on the market: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27428839
Well I'll close this down. If anyone wants to take the lead on this....:)
