It sold for $1,300 PayPal to Fire, which divided by $1.85 per key equals 702.7 keys or 700 keys rounding (via polar's input)
Noh need to be nohstalgic, enjoy your hat Fire and congrats on the sale Levi!
you know this is low when you have enough vote power for this
Noh doubt, I'm fairly certain this is going to sell for quite a bit higher down the line :P
considering the offers he got I'd say this is an outlier, I mean look at the offers he got http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26993224 all of them are much higher than 700 keys
What nos said, he has been offered a lot more than 1300 usd and items that are easily sellable for more than 700 keys. Extremely weird.
Totally possible; this is however the only sale so if it does sell again anytime soon for more then someone can easily suggest with a range.
If I knew he'd take $1300 paypal I would have offered that. Crazy low, but a sale's a sale.
Really, only 1,300? He said he was taking 2,600 (last comment): http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26993224
Odd.
he was probably instructed to lie.
It was an offer from a shady account so I advised him against it. Levi knows he sold it low and I myself offered my bp but he wanted quick cash from a reputable person hence the low sale.
From what Levi told me, he wanted cash and he didn't trust any of the other previous offers he had/had currently besides Fire's.
so going by that logic why did he not post that it was sold for $1300 and then close the trade?
You're not going to convince me its merely coincidence that the trade ends up getting closed looking like it sold for $1300 more than it did
especially given the persons involved. (and I'm not talking about the noob)
Not sure what the fuck you're on about, maybe that's just me. Jewlander, the unboxer, fire, and myself can confirm that that's what it sold for. I don't care if you think I'm shady or not, but don't you dare question the reputation of the other parties involved.
All I know and can tell you is Levi came to me saying he was offered $1,300 by Fire and if I was interested in making a cash offer. I feasibly cannot right now so I declined, he then sold it to Fire for $1,300 PayPal as that was the highest cash offer he currently had from those who had offered, and who he trusted enough to take their cash. He expressed to me that he needed cash badly so I assume that's why he took an offer below his previously listed ones.
Can confirm this was the sale. Would have priced it myself if I wasn't out of town :c
Regardless, congrats on the sale!
So who was this guy who offered $2600 USD but you thought was shady?

No backpack, rep, or history of trading. Pending steam rep report regarding a PayPal scam.
He seem trustworthy to you?
lol alright I can understand that, but why did Levi say he was reputable?

Was another buyer who lost interest. Forgot who, and I myself wrote the trade notes for the op trade.
Regardless the trade is done. Levi and perhaps jewlander can confirm I advised him against taking the offer as it was low. But ultimately, it is not my item.
alright fair enough

Noh pun intended :P
fucking perfect ✌
I'd pay a lot more than 700
Y u guys trying to hurt my feelings with dislikes :((
Then why didn't you offer?
No idea it was on op
Or he could have just sold it for a golden pan (+adds) and quicksold the pan for more in cash...but yeah, 1300$ is better than getting scammed or hijacked and loosing the hat.
Fucking rip
Wouldve been worth so much more. Hopefully it gets the raise it deserves in the future.
Reporting the sale as a curiosity to traders rather than to assign any sort of value to it. By now I would hope that the traders who can afford hats like this know that.
