Thanks to Wolfilicious and Foamy for pointing out I missed some items in the second sale.
I've been wanting to price a god tier Spellbound for a while :D
Sale 1: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27349372
Sold for a Scorching Bomber (620) + Searing Rotation Sensation (85, mini below) + Pro Aussie BB (25, poorly done mini below) + 110 Keys pure.
(620+85+25) times .9 plus 110=767, rounding to 770.
Sale 2: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27406812
Before and After comparison: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198059703455?time=1447488000&compare=1447574400
http://puu.sh/loASM/c63fbb9d7c.jpg
Offered along with a duped Blizzardy Bonk (mini at 39 below), a duped PE Swagmans (mini at 53 below), a Pro KS Australium Sticky Launcher (23, poorly done mini below), and a regular KS Australium Grenade Launcher (20 keys) on a Golden Pan.(1150).
1150-39-53-23-20=1015 keys, rounding to 1000 due to how complicated the sale was and the possibility that I undervalued some of the other items involved.
Searing Rotation Sensation Mini: Before:https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197999390170?time=1446361200
After:https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197999390170?time=1446451200
Sold for a Strange Dead Presidents Rotation Sensation (55 keys) and a Smoking Rotation Sensation (40 see mini below). (40+55) times .9= 85.5, rounding to 85.
Smoking Rotation Sensation Mini Mini: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27124085 sold for 40 keys, probably not a real quicksell due to the trade being up for a long time with no other offers.
Pro KS Aussie Black Box Mini: Really hard to trace sales on these, but chances are it will just be a difference of at max 5 keys which really shouldn't matter for a trade this big, so I'm just going to go by the most common lowest buyouts here. If someone can find an actual traceable usable sale I'll of course use that instead, but as said, a difference of even 5 keys would make a less than 1% difference. Also, I'll be ignoring ones with really valuble strange parts and really badly bumped ones
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27429586 - Looking for 25 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27423281 - Looking for 25 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27270359 - No Buyout, but rejected a haunted ghosts raincatcher which is likely over 25 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27429586 -25 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27425457 -30 keys
I think it's fair to go with 25 keys here.
Bonk Boy Mini: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26698025 - Sold for 39 keys.
Swagman Mini:Sold for a Blizzardy Executioner (59 times .9=53.1, rounding to 53)
Before: https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198079899235?time=1434178800
After: https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198079899235?time=1434334314
Pro KS Stickybomb Launcher Mini: Doing this one the same as the aussie Black Box one.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27397960 -25 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27438284 -24 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27413248 -22 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27444062- 20 keys and 8 ref
Going to use the average of about 23 here.
Anyways, this gives us a range of 770 to 1000....which is a pretty damn large range, but not unprecedented for high tier hats (See https://backpack.tf/stats/Unusual/Killer%20Exclusive/Tradable/Craftable/45 , https://backpack.tf/vote/id/5570f8f2b98d885c428b4591 , https://backpack.tf/vote/id/55273678ba8d8804788b45fe and a few others that I linked in my last suggestion for this.) The precedent for wise range in high tier hats along with how as Polar often says high tier hats are reported more as curiosities, as well as the fact that this hat had not been listed for resale leads me to believe that neither sale need be een as an outlier and a range is appropriate.
As usual, if there is anything wrong with this suggestion please tell me and I will try to fix it! (I put a lot of work into this one so I would appreciate if you told me how I could improve instead of writing the whole thing off if you dislike it) Thanks in advance and have a nice day :)
I know what you mean about larger ranges on high tier hats being common, but I feel like this range may be a bit too big and you should wait for one or two more sales..? Or maybe I'm wrong and this is perfect, idk. Proof is good though :D
I thought the same at first, but I feel like I found enough example in other hats this tier having large ranges for this range to be justified.
