I just purchased this for my Death at Dusk Boot http://backpack.tf/stats/Unusual/Stately%20Steel%20Toe/Tradable/Craftable/90 (31 Keys) and about 2 Keys of Ref (2Keys) Total: 33 keys.

This is a small amount of proof, but im just trying to get a price out there. Since it is only 1 sale and is the first sale, its hard to gather evidence.

As i say in the listing, Im open to offers, thats how much id like to get since its 1/1 and id sell over the listed price, why downvote, what do you think the price should be?

Unfortunately, not yet. Your boot has an outdated price which means you need a mini suggestion for it.

No it would not. You need to proof that the toe sitll sells for 31 Keys. And i really doubt that. Look for a recent sale on the toe and post it here

there have been no recent sales. the last trade that even had it was the one i just did, where me the buyer and the seller both agreed on the value of it being 31 keys.

He listed that after I traded it to him. So the price doesn't change if that's how much he sells it for. There were no listings for the hat when we traded, other than mine.

Except you need a mini for proof, regardless if there was or wasn't at the time of sale. The time of sale vs the appearance of a listing don't really matter. Fact is, you need a mini, you can likely take the 24 key price if it fails to sell in a few days.

How do I setup a mini? Also what would you say the price is? Also the lower priced hat with the effect is 29K meaning this should be in that range.

Don't ask me for a price, it's up to you as the suggestor to prove your price. Public opinion ain't proof. Just because another effect is "in the same range" doesn't mean this will be. All depends on what the proof shows.

Ok, I see. I still am confused on how else I can prove it. How will a different price w the boot change this price? The hat has a higher value of the other hat with the same effect.

1. Look for recent sales of that particular item (Best solution)

2. Take pricing of that particular item that is lower than current pricing which is left unsold for a certain period of time (Not optimal)

So for the boot:

Sold Value: 31

QS Value: 24

It was not sold for 31 keys. It was sold for something with no pricing so you cannot use that sale to price that toe. You can only use the second value as a rough mini though it won't accurate until the Toe is unsold for another couple of days.

This is getting really complicated all for a mini proof.

What sold value? You can't use that as it is outdated and inaccurate. A "quicksell" is only a quicksell if it actually sells fast. If not, it can be used as a mini as an unsold.

Also, like I said earlier, comparing effects is not accurate for pricing. Proof often will say otherwise.

Please please please for the love of god read what I wrote. Some of what I write actually has meaning you know. And no, you can't arbitrarily use "what you valued it at" as proof. It doesn't work that way.

Anyways, as I don't currently have premium I can't make you a mini. I'd suggest closing this and resuggesting in a few days if the toe fails to sell.

If you want others to repeat what I've told you, do what you will. As a veteran unusual suggestor myself, I doubt you'll hear much different.
