And yet you continue to say that we offered much less than what he paid, when in fact we offered ~10 keys MORE than he paid, to compensate him for his troubles. I get it, a 3rd gen unusual isn't nearly as resellable as an Australium, and if I HAD an Aussie RL to spare, I would have happily offered it as a replacement, but I didn't. I even provided a recent sale in which the hat in question sold for ~40-45, PROVING that the hat was worth more than you're claiming. Is it as easy to sell as an Aussie RL? Of course not, but it's still value. It was all we had to offer on such short notice.

But that's besides the point. It shouldn't have been about making a profit. It shouldn't have been about losing a potential sale. It should have been about working with us to return a hat that was STOLEN. Someone's entire backpack value was STOLEN. But you couldn't see past that. All you cared about was making a quick buck.

I don't even know why I'm defending this. I'm not the asshole here. I was just trying to help fix a wrong. "Was" being the keyword here. Now that I know what kind of people you and your friends are, I want absolutely nothing to do with you. Don't think I am continuing this because I somehow hope you will return the hat.
