It didn't last tho. I think the economy can't handle 20 ref for a key which is why it bounces around between 16-20. I'd guess when Valve releases the next gun mettle-esque update (for smissmas?) keys will drop a bit again, esp. as people sell keys for steambucks for the winter sale games.

Like that time when buds went from 3 keys to 7 keys in one day, then straight back down just as fast. I know a few people who either made or lost tons that day.

Also scrap.tf is buying them at 18.66. In my opinion I can't wait for the bubble to burst.

This is a good example of how this voting system that backpack.tf uses is kind of broken. Of course you can find people buying and selling above the normal price. People can do as they please and set prices around the bp.tf price. So then all it takes is someone to take an hr and make a valid suggestion and up/down the prices. Then everyone freaks out and say that the market is going to crash! Oh no! People, it's ok. There is a magical thing called ref that you can use to still buy/sell for. It's not all about keys. BTW YouTube/sedits nice job on the proof.

I agree with you, backpack uses a broken system that feeds price escalation for up or down.

people use bp.tf like some moslims use the quran and there are some who know perfectly how to exploit that.

Well it's not totally useless. Some mods like puddington use the vote score to see the community's support and feedback, but once again, due to the systems flaws from blindvoters, that's the last thing they look at when deciding

Well scores do matter, but from what I've seen, not as much as they should. I mean if something is 90% or 50% it'll get accepted based on votes, but yeah, unless voting is clear cut, the mods just look for evidence and use their own opinions.
