This is my first price suggestion so any advice of any sort is greatly appreciated!

    Where'd the range came from?

Range came from the smokey sombrero, it's 35K on bp.tf as of now, and it isn't pure so the price would be lower. Also, the $100 backs it up, which is quite a bit more than 28-32K.

If the sombrero was offered, you'll have to apply overpay on its median price (35) by multiplying by 0.9

        35*0.9=32.

You also have no proof of your sale.

I do have proof of the sale as I purchased it. If there is any way I could find a picture of the sale happening I would give it to you. However, on my tf2outpost.com threads, you can see I was selling a level 59 white smokey, and Floodedalmond was selling his level 48 amaranthine geezer. I now have the Geezer and he has the Smokey.

You still have no proof. You're going to need to provide proof otherwise this will not pass. You can do this by taking a screenshot, or comparing backpack histories (or both)

Would a screenshot of the seller confirming the trade occurred be enough?

Also, how would I compare bp histories? My apologies as I am still a bit new here.

No, it wouldn't be enough. You need to show the items being sold.

To compare backpack histories, go to your backpack, click "Historical View", find the date you last had the unusual, and compare it with the next available date, like so:

                http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198211674749?time=1448179200 (22nd September)

                http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198211674749?time=1448265600 (23rd September)

Additionally, there is a script you can use on this website that allows comparison between two dates, and shows what items have been removed and what items have been gained between these two dates. The script isn't required, but it helps with price suggestions.

For me (and anyone with the script), it will look like this:

                http://puu.sh/lwK5N/ac7ff49aab.jpg

                  Okay, thanks you very much!

As you can see from that, I had the puzzle Smokey as well as an El Caballero, and on the 23rd I just had the Geezer.

That script is pretty sweet as well, where could I download it?

where are you pulling 28 keys from...

So one sale at 32 keys and a scm sale at higher than that (his b/o was 35 keys tho on his trade). I would say resuggest at 32 keys flat.

Okay, I tried also putting a minimum so I wouldn't anger people. I didn't want them thinking I was just raising the price cause I owned this now.

Yeah understandable, but people like accuracy more than speculation. ;)

Still waiting for you to close this and open a new suggestion at 32 keys flat.

        >sold it through SCM for 100 usd

that isn't the same as 100 Paypal

Very true, so it wouldn't be around 40-45K as it would with paypal

100/45=2.22? Why would you buy keys for 2.22 USD over PayPal? I'd never buy keys for more than 1.90 USD.

So around 52.5 keys then, my apologies.

Yeah but it was sold in scm, so 40-45 keys is about right but an outlier pretty surely.
