So 1 month with no sales is enough? you don't have to wait 2 months? What if some guy offers the buyout or like 10 keys below and the guy selling it rejects?

This is way more than 1 month with no sales.

If some guy offers the buyout, this will sell for 100 keys, and the suggestion will be valid. That's why this works.

To be more specific im trying to suggest a hat with no valid sales in many months. Only dupes. And there is one duped for sale but the guy wants to cash out, he got offered 10 keys below his buyout in unusuals and he rejected that. I was wondering if i can use that to price the hat. He is selling for the maximum amount the hat has been traded in the past.

Dupes can never be used to drop a price, and neither can offers.
