I dont really think this should be done with BO dropping, especially considering its not on outpost; classifieds are often poorly checked.
Even if this was priced in buds Id have my concerns about this relatively minimal value drop based on buyouts. I guess officially its allowed by the buyout rules (Drop is ~18%), but I dont think this meets the rules intended purpose.
To be fair, it is 1 of 1 - anyone looking to buy a Sunbeams Bone Done would have definitely come across the classified trade for it, surely.
Yeah, but that means you're solely depending on people that actively want this specific hat. If people aren't looking for it specificly, they probably wont find it, which kinda takes away the "unable to sell for this long".
Im probably slightly biased here as I am strongly against BO dropping in general; I still think this isnt one that needs such update
But anything it sells for will cap at 112 anyways....
but if it sells for 100 instead itll need a new update right afterwards. The main problem I have with buyout dropping is that it ends up giving a false feeling of a hat recently selling for such amounts. Whatever it sells for may even be updated based on this, and it may even be raised with that if this is accepted.
Look at the flies liquidators. It was dropped twice based on a buyout, and I had to stop someone from trying to raise a hat by 15 keys where it needed a drop, because it sold for that lid which was clearly still overpriced afterwards.
Im not necessarily saying this is too low (pretty much the opposite even). Almost all buyout drops end up overvaluing hats and everything that sells for them afterwards.
And "they probably won't find it" is what happens to a lot of items, unusual or not.
Sometimes unsolds form that way.
