Do dupped hats have any saying in new prices, if so does it depend on certain stuff? Like the amount it is duped, How rare the orignal hat is, etc? You can add me if needed. This is probaly a stupid question anyways

Hey Foamy just a quicky, I commented on the previous closed suggestion on this because the original ID on the hat didnt match so I considered the possibility that perhaps there was another sale? (the previous suggestionalso tried to make a range from 1 sale)

Lastly (though i am not sure if this is fully applicable) but The Hazmattenhatten, though belonging to Qru at the time, did not have him as original owner since his ID and the original ID do not match.

He would have bought it from a private backpack or from SCM.

Notes: There are no registered buys for the 4th/5th December for a hazmattenhatten so an SCM sale could not have occured.

I will admit that I am still inexperienced so not sure if my logic makes sense or if I am getting things wrong :O

Technically it can be that he got it from someone whose backpack has never been scanned for whatever reason. ItemIDs reveal that it was procured alongside the crown, gym rat, slouch and two pistols. Qru is known to exchange items with either alts or friends frequently, as I often see him and someone called K exchange items without visible return, going both ways (incl. trades where the items move back and forth.) the fact that the IDs match may have something to do with that, but Im not sure.

If it was indeed bought in any form prior to this sale occurring, it would have been a bulk sale since it came with multiple other items (unless it was an exchange of the abovementioned nature). Since I cannot trace the buyer, it'd be impossible for me to find out what happened, but it is likely not usable. Odds are that whatever the first sale was, it'd have been very low; Ive seen him shark unboxers several times before (either that or he has a lot of unaccounted unregistered cash trades without exchange of rep).

On account for this sale being the clearest one [assuming the buyer didnt lie about paying 109 there:P] I guess it is safe to assume this value is more accurate than the value obtained from finding out where it originally came from, if a real sale occurred prior to this one

Sold in a day too....probably would have sold quicker if Qru answered the comment section more frequently since it took a day for him to answer....possible quicksell?

Cant disagree with you on that one Foamy. Seems such a wasted potential for this medic misc though :/ Personally I would leave it but I cant dispute your reason for pricing. I shall leave my personal opinions aside :)
