My first suggestion, bear with me.
Only 2 Sellers on Outpost and Backpack, both asking for ~ 25 keys for a Clean Aces High Danger.
I have no idea how to find how much a certain hat was sold for but I did a quick history check on both of these Dangers.
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198131102783?time=1448870400, 16 days have passed since the hat has been sold to it's current owner.
Original Transaction : Danger for Flaming Lantern Black Watch
The Black Watch was later traded with a morning glory furious fukashima (50 keys) for a circling heart grimme hatte (75 keys).
So I say both the Danger and the Lantern Black Watch are around 25 keys.
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198048733415?time=1448438400, huge gap in history but it's safe to say that the current owner of this other danger had it for ~5 days and possibly even longer.
If no one even wants to buy it at a possible 15 key profit, chances are it could even be lower than 24 - 25 keys.
You can check what items were sold for what by checking their backpack histories. If you did it right, on one day they'd have Unusual (A) and the next day they would have Unusual/Aussie/Festive/Prof Ks (B). The buyers backpack would have (B) in their backpack on the first day, but have (A) on the next day.
That sounds like a lot of work XD
Thanks anyway
It only takes minimum 3 minutes. I made this (http://backpack.tf/vote/id/56726121ba8d88f75da94bc2) in 10 minutes.
Totally depends. Sometimes it is crystal clear, the guy traded one item for others, he had his outpost trade open with a buyout, you may even see the offer there, so it's easy to understand what happened. But most often, that's not how it goes, so yes, suggesting takes a hell lot of time.
You'll need to mini the outdated and unpriced hats involved.
What do you mean by mini the outdated and unpriced hats?
The outdated and unproved hats involved need to be proven of their value. By using sales, you can supply proof of why you value them in your equations as you do.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27574397 - b/o 25 - a week here. it was up at 30 for some time too
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27519241 - sold for a lantern black watch which resold for 25
Current b/o at 30. I think it's fair to say the suggested price is better than the current one
