currently 80+ sitting at less than $1.5 usd; not to mention they cost 1/2 what a key does from valve directly ($1.24 usd)

Wasn't a shark, they are paying for something that is tradeable, not something that will be untradeable for 7 days if puchased off scm / store. Regardless, same issue as you previous 10+ suggestions. Surprised you have yet to learn your lesson.

untradeable items are priced based upon what is paid BEYOND the cost of gift wrap

in this case there is neither reason nor precedent to differentiate between a market/store bought or traded item

if you're telling me there is a $1.25 'tradeable' fee, that doesn't mean the item itself is worth $2.5;

What are you talking about? What needs a gift wrap? Are you high?

I would like to remind you that items that are marked as "Untradable for 7 Days" can NOT be gift wrapped.

The only way a true untradable version of this would exist would be via a glitch, and it would be worth a fair bit more to collectors.

I would just like to post this disclaimer about Uncraftable Black and White paints:

They are NOT valued the same. This is the only scenario where Craft =/= Uncraft. The same applies for outpost sellers.

Though they serve the exact same function, they have two completely different markets.

going to give you a hint, when items are listed as a commodity all are considered to be identical.

commodity listing for paint does not distinguish craft/uncraft. (this is Valve's choice) They're considered identical by valve.

They serve the same purpose.

They do the same thing.

They have the same value.

I also agree that they two have different markets, but in the future if the uncraftable ones are lower then the craftable ones, i think people will realize they do just the same functions, and buyers will buy the uncraft ones just to save a few, then as time goes on the two will stabilize out to some agreeable arrangement. just my thoughts though haha. - As for this suggestion, im also gonna stay skeptical because i think it needs more time, and i think many more sales will occur if that time is given.

I was thinking the same too. Obviously the case of craft and uncraft having different markets won't last forever, and once they both stabilize to a base price, they'll have the same market again.

But for now, if this suggestion DOES pass, it wouldn't really be valid to price the craftable black paint at a key - at least for now.

This is a one use item, no matter it is craftable or non-craftable, It should be like around 2 or 2.1 keys, what 10 ref? wake up dude, its still in the 75% slaes, don't even try to manipulate the market price with this, and yea of course now ppl are buying with around 10 ref for the paint cuz the price in the mann co is discounted,but what if after the sales? still in 10 ref? wake up and check the price history dude, its 2 or 2.1keys, so stop manipulating the price,you just irritating the other players

It is hilarious being accused of manipulation so many times. Like more than 10 times if I wanted to count. Surprised that there are so many ignorant people that do not even try to read. I know for sure most people that comment here just look at the value and blind vote/comment/dislike/like without taking the proper time to find out themselves what is going on. This is not facebook. This is not a scroll and click only website. Do some research.

1. These are not my sales.

2. These are proof that the item is currently being sold for this price.

3. I have 15 cans of this paint. Why would I try to lower the price?

4. Other people are selling for 9 ref. Other people are buying for 10 ref.

5. I know the paint value is 2 keys. But show me proof of sales at 2 keys instead of USELESS comments.

Like it or not, its a one use item and most of the people are agreed with 2k for craftable and non-craftable, And did I ever say that this is a SCORLL AND CLICK website? Don't think that you're the pros here,you DON'T run the market price,Proof? Don't you realize that you just blindly following the others? Now you have the proof of others selling at a lower price, its because of the winter sales in mann co, but once after the sales?You said that you have 15 cans of the paints,so why you don't think about what we said instead of listing a 1k for that? And one last thing, give me a reason why craftable and non-craftable should have different price? Both are having the same function and both are the same thing, just like keys. Don't runaway from this answer it.
